Our Founder

Willie Bass founded WC Bass Enterprises after two decades spent inside the businesses private equity buys. He ran operations as a U.S. Army officer, then spent twenty years optimizing process and operating models across EY, KPMG, and BNY Mellon — the kind of work that doesn’t show up in a data room but decides whether a thesis survives contact with the people who have to execute it.

He holds an MBA from NYU Stern, a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He works with a small number of firms at a time, senior-led, bringing an operator’s eye to origination, diligence, and the value-creation plan that follows a close.
