WC Bass Enterprises works in two markets. In the United States we originate and improve lower-middle-market companies for private equity investors. Across the U.S.-Africa corridor we assemble the capital, assessment and delivery that infrastructure and resource projects require.

Private equity

Origination. We source off-market acquisition targets — companies that aren't already running through a banker's auction — and bring them with the owner situation, the succession signal, and the fit already mapped.

Diligence. We screen every target the way an operator would — not a deck of assertions, but a screen where every figure is graded verified, reasoned, or unverified, so you know what's fact and what's estimate before you commit capital.

Value creation. When a deal closes, we don't disappear. We stay through the value-creation plan — the same operator discipline, applied to making the thesis real.

Emerging markets

Assessment. What the asset actually is, and what stands between it and production: access and haul routes, power, water, title and licence status, offtake, and the permissions still outstanding. Each answered with evidence and a cost, not an assumption.

Structuring and capital. The right instrument and the right investors for the risk profile, matched to sponsors with demonstrated appetite for the asset class.

Delivery. Engineering, construction and project-controls partners with the institutional track record to execute at scale.

Oversight. Governance, reporting and controls that survive institutional scrutiny.

Each capability covers what the others cannot. Sequencing them is the work, and the reason a project moves rather than circulates. Our current focus is the U.S.-Africa corridor, working through in-country advisory firms, government investment authorities and project owners.
